DEHOV

Digital Economy Heads of the Valleys (DEHOV) is a project run by the University of South Wales. DEHOVoffers training and development for self employed individuals or staff employed in the Heads of the Valleys region. Our training is IT focussed and is designed to reflect the needs of industry in the region, encouraging professional development of staff at all levels.

What is the cost of the training?

The DEHOV Project is funded by the European Social Fund, therefore training could be full or part-funded – please talk to us.

Who can access our training?

If you are employed by a local company, charity or social enterprise or if you are self employed we can probably sign you up for our training. If you run a business and want to access training for your staff we can also help. Please contact us for more information.

How long are the courses?

The format of the training can be customised to your needs but typically we run short courses of 3 hours per week over 5 or 10 weeks.

What is the level of training offered?

The level of training offered is at levels 4 (see the Credit and Qualifications Framework for Wales). It is a progression from any basic training you may have received previously, enabling you to gain the confidence and skills required to implement your IT goals.
