New location for Bridges into Work – The College Merthyr Tydfil

“Bridges into Work Personal Support & Hospitality Project” working In Partnership with Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council

After 4 years at their previous address Bridges into Work has moved to Crownford House in Swan Street, directly in the heart of Merthyr Tydfil.

Bridges into Work were fortunate enough to spend 3 months at the new state of the art College Campus before their relocation.

The move represents another step in a 4 year-long journey to establish firm foundations for future development of the project. The relocation and multi-functional environment is suitable for the needs and functions of the project and will enable the Bridges into Work team to expand their services in an even more prominent town centre location, making it easier to meet the growing demands of local jobseekers to come and see us under a one stop shop employability environment.

We are now looking forward to showing our jobseekers and partners our new facilities which include 2 fully equipped training rooms, a large Work Club area with internet access and a welcoming reception area to meet and greet our visitors.

Tina Cook Project Manager quoted, “I am confident that the move will support our future growth as an ESF project, which will allow us to expand our services to those who need us most. The project’s success would not be possible without our effective partnerships with Stakeholders, including Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council, Job Centre Plus, Local Voluntary Agencies and many other ESF projects and employers.  They certainly are key contributors to the success of Bridges into Work”.
